Car history: |
It has a small block V/8, a wide ratio 4-speed manual transmission, and side exhaust. It also has a convertible top and an after market hardtop. To my knowledge, most numbers match with the exception of the engine block and the alternator, since they both have been changed. It has been repainted. It is now Black, but the original color was burgundy. The interior is the original saddle color in good condition, and has "sheepskin" covers on the seats. Check out the pictures. The convertible top is white vinyl, and is only in fair condition as the rear plastic window has been removed. The hardtop is a fiberglass, after market top that fits quite well. It has a chrome luggage rack mounted on the back deck. The wheels are those from a 1968 Corvette (AG) and are in excellent condition. The car runs and drives very well. It has had the same owner for the past 12 years and has had many recent updates: New radiator, brakes with stainless calipers, starter, distributor, alternator, water pump, and a total front end rebuild. This rebuild included new front bushings, upper and lower ball joints, and tie rods and ends. The headlight mechanisms have been resealed and they work fast and smooth. The windshield wipers work just fine but the wiper deck needs the vacuum activator rod replaced. The previous owner had the right lower control arm replaced and the coil tower reworked. The speedometer works just fine, but the odometer hasnt worked in a while and cannot verify the actual miles on the car. VIN not certain (was 11xxx). 67,283 miles. Color codes from the seller. Built date is E20. February 22, 2010. |
